Ok i got through that issue and had both safety latches in place.
Oven door hinge bent.
If the hinge is totally broken or bent at some point it may prevent the door from closing and opening smoothly.
Check the door springs to see.
Grime or rust on the hinges.
I went to place the door back into position.
After spending 70 on new hinges that didn t work i found this really cheap way to fix an oven door that won t stay closed.
Sometimes a hinge can simply be loose in which case you ll just want to tighten any screws that bolster it.
Replace the hinges with identical new ones and hook them back into the hinge holes in the oven.

In some cases the hinge can be loose.
The door hinge or a broken glass.
If you find the lock clean and disengage it to regain control of your oven door.
If the oven door won t close properly or won t stay closed because a hinge is damaged or bent replace both door hinges using manufacturer approved replacement parts.
Chance are it got bent from the door being taken off improperly.
